As usual, NaijaVibes likes to bring you the doppest, hottest and trending songs released last week.
Last week was quite a busy week with remarkable artists dropping new songs, hopefully this week will be better than last week.
The week started with Simi dropping another hit song titled ‘Small Thing’, thereafter, we saw releases from Dj Arafat, Victor AD and veteran singer, Asa releasing a song titled ‘Beginning’ after a while off the music scene, were among those to drop songs.
Notwithstanding we have put together the top 5 songs released in the week ending May 18, 2019.

5. DJ Arafat – Moto Moto
Cote d’Ivoire finest DJ and singer, DJ Arafat dropped a banging hit titled Moto Moto.
The video was released alongside the audio and in less than 24 hours it crossed the 1 million views landmark. It serves as a follow up to “Lékilé“, released in March.
Consequently, the new Makossa influenced record “Moto Moto” is accompanied with the official music video released under Universal Music Africa and Yorogang Collaboration.
4. Runtown ft Popcaan – Oh Oh Oh (Lucie Remix)
Soundgod Music boss, Runtown came through with the remix of hit song ‘Oh Oh Oh’.
He teams up with Jamaican talented artist, Popcaan to deliver an amazing tone.
The single was produced by Del-B-, who also produced the first song last year.
However, Runtown is set to release his EP on the 31st Of May, 2019 and he has already displayed the tracklist.
3. Victor AD – Emoji
SJW Entertainments, Victor AD released another hit song titled Emoji.
In the song he talks about the effect of fake life lived on social media, it portrays how people hide their real feelings using the emoji during social media conversations.
Emoji was produced by popular producer, Ty Mix.
2. Simi – Small Thing
Talented singer, Simi is on our list again this week with her single titled Small Thing.
This single is coming after her well received album titled “Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1 couple of weeks ago.
Also this songs comes after she parted ways with former label, X3M Music where she stayed 5 good years of making music.
The song was produced, mix and mastered by her.
1. Asa – Beginning
Afro soul singer, Asa dropped a soulful song which she titled Beginning.
According to Asa, the song is the opening track to her soon to be released album, no date or titled has been announced yet.
The song was released alongside the visuals and directed by Daisy Zhou.
