Cool Fm presenter, Dotun has come out to debunk the rumour that Skiibii admitted to faking his death during their interview.
Recall that Skiibii was in an interview with Dotun yesterday. Subsequently, most news platforms alleged that the singer admitted to faking his death in 2015, during the interview.

Dotun stated in a series of tweets on Friday, July 12 that the false news making rounds is a result of lack of proper research and investigation.
He tweeted: “The big thing missing in media & journalism is the inability to investigate, research properly and get facts before you speak or write, we’ve become so lazy.
“My interview with Skiibi was a very detailed one..he never ever said or agreed to faking his own death… My interview with Skiibi was a very detailed one..he never ever said or agreed to faking his own death.”
Furthermore, he advised news platforms to do proper research from the main source before making it public.
“The headlines and captions you all read are so misleading and very very contrary to the actual interview.
“Just do a bit of research, buy small recharge card to call or ask the actual content providers or watch it..find the actual source before you write or speak…shikena!, he tweeted.
