Nigerian Police Force has confirmed the death of Davido and Chioma’s three-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, following the arrest of some domestic staff.
About 8 domestic workers of the Nigerian singer have been brought in for questioning by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday over the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

The 3-year-old who reportedly died in their family house in Lagos drowned in their private swimming pool after being left unattended to for some hours. The State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirming the death mentioned that all the domestic staff will be questioned.
Futhermore, he added that those found to have been negligent will be held back for further drilling to assist in the investigation. He further stated that “anybody found not culpable will be allowed to go immediately”.
While the couple is yet to release an official statement regarding the incident, the sad news has since thrown social media into mourning. Several Nigerian and Ghanian celebrities have since sympathized with the family of the deceased.
Ifeanyi was born in 2019 to Davido and his partner Chioma. The two have been in an on-and-off relationship, with recent sightings indicating they may tie the knot soon.
