Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has reportedly filed a complaint against his late son, Kambilichukwu’s school, alleging negligence that may have contributed to his son’s untimely death.
It is gathered that the bereaved father reported the death of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, to the Lagos State Police Command, and an investigation is underway.

According to Lagos state Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, contrary to reports that the 16-year-old died in the presence of his parents, he died at school.
“He just reported the case and we have begun investigation. By Friday, it will be transferred to state CID. We will investigate what killed the boy. They have to do an autopsy and know what happened to him,” he said.
“We cannot tell you what happened to him now until an autopsy is conducted, but the incident happened in the school.” Hundeyin added.
Meanwhile, veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has broken his silence on the death of his grandson, Kambilichukwu Edochie.
Kambilichukwu Edochie, who just turned 16 in January 2023, is said to have slumped and developed a seizure while playing football with his friends.
Reacting to the sad news in a chat with Vanguard, Pete Edochie described Kambilichukwu as a brilliant, unusual child who excelled in everything.
In addition, Pete said that it was unfortunate that his grandson died while he had shown great promise.
