Nigerian singer Kunmie has released his debut extended play project, “Before We Became Strangers.”
“Before We Became Strangers,” a four-song extended play, serves as the prelude to Kunmie’s chart-dominating hit, “Arike.”
The EP opens with “I Admit,” a slow-burning confession that sets the tone for what’s to come. Kunmie’s voice glides over a sparse.
“Majẹkajá” follows with a vibrant energy that contrasts beautifully with the introspective tone of the previous track.
“Arike,” the third track, stands out as a heartfelt ode to love and devotion. The song celebrates the beauty of being treasured and valued.
Closing the EP is “One More Chance,” a bittersweet plea wrapped in a melody that feels like the last light of day slipping below the horizon.
The Kazez and Pumba Mix are recognized as the creative forces behind the production of the tracks featured on the “Before We Became Strangers” EP.
