The superstar made this known to fans via her Instagram handle: @victoriakimani.
Thus, she wrote: “First of all, THANK YOU. I appreciate all the love, support & (rather surprising) backlash received for taking part in the #fvckyouchallenge. A basic musical battle, where historically artists come together and playfully drop bars against eachother. It’s a healthy part of growth in this game and never taken literally. Somehow though a lot of assumptions and crazy ideas have come about from this one. Like are women not allowed to do this or something Lol?!!!
I’m gonna to lay it all out with UN Women Ambassador & Gender Equality activist @shruticlicks on MONDAY 3PM WAT and 6PM EAT on TWITTER. We’ll be discussing “WOMEN IN MUSIC”, the good, the great, the build of our African industry and some of the very REAL challenges we’re facing right now #ItsAboutToGetDeep #sayftychat Listen/read a little more carefully this time.”
A lot of fans took to her comment section with both positive and negative remarks.
