Apple Music has broadcasted the exclusive performance of Afrobeats megastar, Wizkid and it was nothing short of a record-breaking performance from the Nigerian starboy.
Prior to the release of his fifth album ‘More Love, Less Ego‘ on the 11th November, 2022, Apple Music announced that Wizkid‘s live rendtion of the album will be available on the music platform in 3 days. The live session commenced on Monday, 14th November with Producer and artist, DJ Juls opening for him with an amazing hour-long set that delivered classic music across Africa and beyond.

The starboy graced the stage some hours later with the fans cheering aloud. The performance was a nostalgic exploration of the star’s discography as he gave the audience a performance of his old-but-gold classic songs including ‘Soco’, ‘Caro’, ‘Fever’, ‘Ojuelegba’ to mention a few.
Furthermore, he also thrilled with songs from his recent album ‘More Love, Less Ego’. He brought out Afrobeats sensation, Ayra Starr for their collaboration ‘2 Sugar’.
Meanwhile, assisted by DJ Tunez, a live band, and some backup singers, Wizkid delivered a stellar live rendition that gave the songs off his recent album a refreshing feel. The hour-long performance which took place in London was televised across the world with Apple Music subscribers able to watch the show through the app.

In addition, Wizkid is getting ready for his show at the prestigious Maddison Square Garden on Wednesday, 16th November 2022 and his Apple Music Live rendition offered a glimpse into what fans of the star should expect.
