Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has offered to gift one hotel staff, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, the sum of $10,000 as reward for returning misplaced $70,000.
Indeed the self-proclaimed ‘OBO’ has lived up to his mantra, ‘We rise by lifting others’, as he pledged to reward a hotel staff after she returned a customer’s missing $70,000.
Mary was said to have discovered a misplaced bag containing the huge sum of money in one of the hotel’s suites. She promptly reported the discovery to the hotel management.
The hotel’s General Manager, in line with the establishment’s policy of integrity and transparency, promptly initiated the process of returning the money to its rightful owner.
Taking to his Twitter account on Sunday, July 23, 2023, Davido revealed that he is ready to give back to the hotel worker, and asked that she be located.

Meanwhile, hours later after his pledge to reward the hotel staff on Twitter, the hotel staff was finally discovered and was seen praying for the music star over a video call.
