“Baba” is an invitation to be vulnerable with the One who created you in His image. Scripture says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change.”
Your life changes when you realise that God is not only God, He is also your Father. Because many of us carry painful memories of our earthly fathers, we instinctively project those wounds onto God and expect Him to act the same way.
Yet the Bible reveals God as a Father in whom there is no inconsistency, no shortcoming, no limitations. A Father whose love is perfect.
Let this song minister to you the truth of God’s Fatherhood. Embrace the knowledge that He delights in giving good gifts to His children, and you, dearly beloved, are counted among His children.
Today, shake off the orphan mindset that breeds fear and keeps you distant. Stop waiting for Him to disappoint you; He never will. Instead, as you revel in the assurance that you have been adopted into an eternal family, enter the Father’s warm embrace and find total satisfaction.
Open your heart, hallow His name, and call out: “Father! Abba! Baba!”
