Following his statement on a “Road Podcast” about Wizkid last week, Cipha Sounds has come out to explain himself.
The comedian/DJ faced a backlash when he said “Without Drake, nobody would know Wizkid in the US” which prompted fans to go after him on social media.

However, he took to his Instagram handle: @ciphasounds with a video explaining what he meant.
He wrote: “Y’all owe me an apology. I was 1st to play WizKid on Hot 97.
I hate this social media shit. Y’all don’t even listen. I’ve been supporting Wiz Kid since 2012. Listen to the whole interview.”
