Nigerian disc jockey and songwriter SPINALL has released his seventh studio album “ÈKÓ GROOVE.”

SPINALL’s star-studded project, “ÈKÓ GROOVE,” is a 14-track masterpiece that showcases his taste for good music and diverse collaboration.

The album features Wizkid, Olamide, Omah Lay, Victony, Young Jonn, Niniola, Tyla, Teni, Summer Walker, Buju Banton, Jaz Karis, Ami Faku, Heavy-K, and more.

During a conversation with Apple Music, SPINALL shared insights about his album, explaining its vision and inspiration. He says;

This album is literally about giving kudos back to the city that raised me and raised many other amazing talents.

A lot of artists have moved to Lagos from Port Harcourt, from Benin, from wherever they come from, and they’ve been able to take their craft to the rest of the world.

Across ÈKÓ GROOVE’s 14 tracks, SPINALL acts as a bridge between the different artists, soundscapes and belief systems that have built Lagos’ reputation as a multicultural port of call without sacrificing the melodic foundation that helped propel Afrobeats to global fame.

The album “ÈKÓ GROOVE” was preceded by SPINALL’s earlier singles, including “KEROSENE” featuring Young Jonn, “ONE CALL” with Omah Lay and Tyla, and other tracks.
