Nigeria’s prolific record producer, songwriter, and disc jockey, Sarz, extends his dominance with a massive record, “Billions,” which features his protege Lojay. It’s their first musical collaboration in 2024.
The 35-year-old record producer Sarz gets along with Lojay once again on a song that samples the singer’s captivating and endearing vocals in the chorus and verse. The song is a summer smash.
“Billions” is the latest track in Sarz’s catalogue of hits that captures the blissful essence of this time of year and is guaranteed to have heads nodding and bodies moving all summer.
Prior to the release of the song on streaming platforms, Sarz and Lojay had previously teased the song “Billions” multiple times at Obi’s House session in Lagos while thrilling music lovers on a memorable night.
While we await the full project, “Billions” is Sarz’s third official record from his upcoming debut album, which follows his previous hit songs “Happiness,” featuring Asake and Gunna, and “Yo Fam,” which features Skrillex and Crayon.
The song “Billions” is a continuation of Sarz and Lojay’s committed musical journey to satisfy their listeners. Sarz and Lojay have proven to be compatible, working together on their previous songs “Monalisa,” “Tonongo,” “LV N ATTN” with Wizkid, and more from their collaborative project.
Sarz recently performed his first Boiler Room performance in April on the heels of a feature in and sync for “Happiness” in a new Chase Sapphire campaign starring Michael B. Jordan, Nigerian chef Tolu Eros, and notable West African talent including ESPN analyst and WNBA player Chiney Ogwumike, former NBA player Pops Mensah-Bonsu, and more.
