During a recent interview, Tiwa Savage opened up about the inspiration behind the song, stating;
This song gives that ’80s vibe, the drums. It’s such a cool midtempo record. Again, it’s talking about being addicted to a love, being addicted to something that is not necessarily cool for you.
Being so addicted to something that you’re just like, ‘How long can I keep this a secret?’ Because eventually, people are going to find out.
The song “Addicted” was taken from Tiwa Savage’s fourth studio album, “This One Is Personal,” which comprises 15 tracks.
Tiwa’s latest album “This One Is Personal” features guest appearances from Skepta, James Fauntleroy, and taves.
