Veteran Nigerian singer, Abolore Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice, and his wife, Sunkanmi, have hit a milestone in their marriage as they celebrate their third marriage anniversary.
The duo got married in December 2019, five years after having a child together.

To celebrate their third wedding anniversary, the music star took to his official Instagram page on Thursday to share stunning pictures of himself and his wife, as he revealed that they have been friends for over a decade. 9ice wrote,
“12 years of friendship, 3 years married, forever to go…Eru to ju owo elo, Abeeni, my no 1 cheerleader, my source of motivation and strength. Thanks for being a part of my life. My lovely wife. Happy Anniversary.”
Meanwhile, in another post, the singer described his relationship with his wife as two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together. “Cheers to two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together”, he wrote.
Prior to this, 9ice’s relationship with Sukanmi went sour after they had their daughter in 2014, but they reconciled in 2019 and tied the knot in that same year.
