Legendary singer, 2baba has been awarded by INEC for mobilizing youths to vote in 2019 general election.
INEC believes that, the Nigerian youths have a role to play in the upcoming 2019 election.

According to INEC the 2019 general election will be for young people who constitute 81 per cent of registered voters.
The chairman of INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, stated this during an election summit for youths, where popular musicians were given awards for helping to mobilize youths to register for the elections.
Among those awards given where musician, Innocent Idibia (2baba) and Ambassador Ketil Karlson, Head Of European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS.
While commending Tu Face and others for mobilizing youths to participate in the voter registration, he also urged them to continue to tell people to collect their Permanent Voter Cards.
