American rap artist, Kanye West has announced he will be running for the United States presidency this year.
His announcement came as surprise since he is known to be a supporter of President Trump and has even visited him at the White House previously.

He took to his Twitter handle; @kanyewest on the 5th of July 2020, to make the announcement of his presidential ambitions.
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION,” his tweet read.
