1. Olamide & DJ Enimoney
YBNL head-honcho, Olamide has been one of the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry in the last decade or more. It would interest you to know that DJ Enimoney, signed to his label imprint is his brother. Olamide & Eniola Adedeji have worked together on many songs and shows and have enjoyed huge successes working together and in their careers.
2. M.I Abaga & Jesse Jagz
Jude & Jesse Abaga’s relationship has been known for years since the super-talented rappers burst into the music scene in the 2000s. While M.I. is respected for his depth and rap prowess, his younger brother Jesse Jagz can be said to be the more versatile of the two. They’ve won multiple awards and have produced countless songs as well as worked as music executives.
3. Teni & Niniola
Teniola & Niniola Apata are some of the most successful Nigerian female musicians. They are children of the late Ex-Military Brigadier General Simeon Apata and Mrs. Fola Apata. Teni started her career by dropping covers on social media and released her debut single “Amen.” Furthermore, she became prominent after she signed with Dr. Dolor Entertainment and released songs like Fargin, Askamaya, Case, Uyo Meyo and many more. Niniola the queen of dancehall has been dropping hits back-to-back after participating in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013 and releasing the acclaimed hit “Ibadi.”
4. Don Jazzy & D’Prince
Michael Ajere & Charles Enabeli Ajere are successful music executives. Don Jazzy is the boss at Mavin Records his younger sibling, D’Prince runs Jonzing Records. The pair started their careers at the defunct record label Mo’Hits Records. Don Jazzy has produced songs for some of the biggest artists to come out of Nigeria and now owns one of the most successful labels in the country.
5. P-Square
This list would be incomplete without mentioning the duo of Paul and Peter Okoye. P-Square has won multiple awards locally and internationally and has hits dating back to the early 2000s. However, the veteran duo split at some point due to misunderstandings and recorded successes as individual artists but have since reunited.
6. Burna Boy & Nissi
Damini & Nissi Ogulu are siblings who are making waves with their music. The African giant, Burna Boy is one of the biggest products to come out of Afrobeats and continues to deliver banging songs and albums. He is undeniably talented and his discography speaks for him. Burna Boy’s songs have sold millions of copies worldwide and have topped the charts countless times. Nissi on the other hand is talented and has great songs to her credit.
7. D’Banj & KaySwitch
Finally, we end our list with D’banj and Kayswitch. Oladapo & Kehinde Oyebanji were part of Mo’Hits Records before it was disbanded. Following the disbandment of Mo’Hits Records, D’Banj set up his label, DB Records and signed his brother KaySwitch. D’Banj is a veteran in the Nigerian music industry and was one of the first to take our music to the global stage. He is best known for hits like Fall In Love, Oliver Twist, Emergency, Mo Gbono Feni Feni, Suddenly, Tongolo and many more.
