It was made known to DJ Cuppy by a fan who recorded the moment when Nicki Minaj mentioned her on Instagram live.

Without wasting time, DJ Cuppy took to her Instagram story: @cuppymusic with lots of excitement to make it known to her fans.
Her post read: “OMG @nickiminaj shouted me out on her Live! (and she said she’s currently working on coming to Nigeria) currently dying.”
In another post she also stated that her and Nicki Minaj are best of friends. The post read: “People don’t realize how much of a nicki fan I am.. Were best friends, she doesn’t know it yet.Lol.”
