Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has officially recieved her Guinness World Record confirmation plaque for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
On Monday afternoon, June 19, 2023, Hilda, who currently holds the record for the longest cooking time for an individual, took delivery of her record plaque.
In a video posted online, an ecstatic Hilda screamed with joy as the delivery guy handed her the plaque.
However, she refrained from opening it, hinting at an official unboxing.
The restaurateur, who was supported by millions of Nigerians during the event, went on to share the unboxing experience with fans via her Instagram live.
In the live clip shared on her page, Hilda could not hide her excitement as she played a victorious song and began the unboxing with her scissors.
The Guinness World Record holder showed off her certificate first before finally unboxing her plaque, and the rest of the items in the box.
She further took to Twitter to share herself holding the assembled plaque.
“It feels so good to hold it I remember seeing a photoshopped picture of myself pointing at it and I said to God will have an original and he did it congratulations to all of us this is a collective win thank you all so much for your continuous love and support,” she wrote.
