Nigerian artist, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, known professionally as Naira Marley, has officially cancelled his #ENDSARS protest which was scheduled to hold today.
The protest was engineered by the singer to serve as cry to the government to put an end to the controversial police unit ‘Sars.’

The singer further took to his Twitter handle; @nairamarley to cancel the protest due to some recent developments from the Inspector General of Police.
“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest,” his tweet read.

In another tweet, the artist also stated that he will be going live on Instagram with the Force PRO- DCP Frank Mba.
