Nigerian singer Seyi Shay has signed a global recording contract with notable record label Island Universal Records, her reps say.
The signing is said to have taken place in London at the Universal Offices in South Kensington at approximately 5.30pm yesterday, the 23rd of June, 2015.
Island Universal Records is home to a diverse and unparalleled family of artists such as Nicki Minaj, Taio Cruz, Enrique Iglesias, Calvin Harris, Leona Lewis, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and more.
Seyi Shay debuted in the Nigerian music scene in 2011 and is ranked as one of the most prominent female acts in Africa.
