Nigerian superstar Davido has released his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “5ive.”
Davido’s stellar project “5ive,” brimming with high-profile collaborations, highlights his artistic evolution, mastery, and seamless collaborative chemistry.
The seventeen-track project “5ive” features a diverse array of songs spanning Afrobeats, Afro-Pop, Amapiano, and other genres.
In a recent interview, Davido described his album as:
“I’ve just always loved delivering a good body of work and good music. It’s definitely going to be another one of those classic Davido albums.
I named the album ‘5ive’ because it was my fifth album, and what makes the number five great ended up being exactly what is happening in my life right now – change, growth, and hope.”
With a constellation of features—ODUMODUBLVCK, Omah Lay, Chike, Victony, Chris Brown, Becky G, Victoria Monét, Shensea, Musa Keys, Tayc, Dadju, YG Marley, and 450.
The album was preceded by three of his earlier releases: “Awuke” with YG Marley, “Funds,” featuring ODUMODUBLVCK and Chike, and “Be There Still.”
